Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of bayareaclimatecontrol.com and to requests for services from Bay Area Climate Control, a Galaxy Services company. By using this website or requesting an estimate, appointment, repair, maintenance, installation, or other service, you agree to these terms. A written proposal, work authorization, invoice, warranty, or other service-specific agreement may include additional terms that control if there is a conflict.
Website use
You may use this site for lawful personal or business purposes, including learning about HVAC systems and contacting us about service. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, copy or republish its content without permission, or submit information that is false, unlawful, harmful, or intended to disrupt our systems.
Estimates and service requests
Website forms, online tools, phone conversations, and preliminary estimates are for general information and are not a guarantee of a final price, equipment availability, rebate amount, system capacity, or project schedule. A final scope of work and price will be provided in the applicable written proposal or service documentation after we evaluate the property and the requested work. You are responsible for providing accurate information and letting us know about access restrictions, existing conditions, hazards, and changes to your project.
Appointments and access
We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled appointment window and will communicate material changes when possible. You agree to provide safe, timely access to the equipment and work areas, secure pets, disclose known hazards, and obtain permission from the property owner when required. Additional visits, delays, or work caused by inaccessible areas, concealed conditions, code requirements, utility work, or changes requested after approval may affect the price or schedule.
Payments, permits, and third-party programs
Payment terms, deposits, financing, cancellation charges, taxes, and approved payment methods are stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or financing agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, you are responsible for charges for authorized work and approved materials. Permit requirements and fees will be handled as described in the proposal. Rebate, tax-credit, utility, financing, and manufacturer programs are administered by third parties and may change or require eligibility approval; we do not guarantee approval or payment.
Equipment, workmanship, and warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply to eligible equipment according to the manufacturer’s terms. Any labor or workmanship warranty provided by Bay Area Climate Control is limited to the duration and conditions stated in the applicable proposal or warranty document. Warranties may not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modifications, normal wear, pre-existing conditions, damage caused by outside events, or work performed by others. Contact us promptly if you believe covered work needs attention so we can review it.
Safety and emergency situations
Website information and HVAC tools are not a substitute for an on-site inspection or professional safety advice. If you smell gas, see smoke, suspect carbon monoxide, or face another immediate danger, leave the property and contact emergency services or your utility provider before contacting us.
